PCL Construction is involved with multiple student housing projects across the UCLA Campus. In this ACEVenture we will focus on the $303M Southwest Student Housing Project. The project consists of three residential cast-in-place concrete buildings, two at eight (8) stories and one nine (9) story building. The project will provide 358 apartment-style units consisting of 2,281 undergraduate beds. This ACEVenture will show the high level of coordination and daily challenges that goes into getting a project like this from start to where it is today at 50% complete. We will take detailed looks into the technology we use, placing a concrete deck, and removing a Tower Crane!
