KEVIN LEGGE – Vice President

Kevin Legge has more than 15 years of private and public construction experience. Kevin joined Clark in 2005 as a project manager on the Caltrans District 11 project in San Diego and since then has been involved in projects such as the USC Galen Center, San Diego Marriott Hall, UC San Diego Village at torrey Pines East, San Diego FBI Field Office, and Legacy International Center. Most recently, Kevin provided leadership on the construction of UC San Diego’s North Torrey Pines Living and Learning Center. This 1.6 million-square-foot project fulfills the university’s vision of a fully integrated campus.
Prior to joining Clark, Kevin served in the U.S. Marine Corps for nine years, ultimately achieving the rank of Captain. During this time he worked in various capacities including Platoon Leader, Executive Officer, and Combat Engineer Company Commander. In his final tour as the engineer advisor to a Commanding General Staff in Iraq, he directed military engineering units, Iraqi civilian construction companies and more than 250 municipal government workers in efforts to reconstruct the city of Fallujah.
Kevin has a bachelor’s in geology from Florida State University, a master’s in business administration from National University, and a master’s in engineering management from the University of Missouri –Rolla.

 

ALI KASHANI, PhD – Senior Manager, Virtual Design and Construction

Ali Kashani is a construction technology expert. From drones and laser scanning, to underground utilities modeling, Ali deploys virtual design tools and reality capture technologies to enhance project development and building processes. Ali helped initiate the first-ever in-house drone program at Clark, using the North Torrey Pines Living and Learning Neighborhood project as a beta test site to develop standard procedures for drone use on Clark projects.
Ali also leads Clark’s ace team of FAA-trained and -certified drone pilots in Southern California. Drones are now used to track project progress more efficiently and help identify issues early, avoiding potential escalations that can impact project budget or schedule.
Ali has a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, a master’s in construction engineering and management, and a PhD in civil engineering.

 

DOMINIC ROMERO – Project Manager

A class of 2020 graduate, Dominic Romeo already has four projects in his portfolio. While majoring in construction management at Chico University, Dominic spent two years as a summer associate in San Diego. He honed his skills while working at the San Ysidro Land Port of Entry, Phase 3 in 2018 and at the Legacy International Center in 2019. He was hired full time as an engineer in 2019 and assigned to the UC San Diego North Torrey Pines Living and Learning Neighborhood project. He is now working at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art Building for the Permanent Collection project, an expansive 347,500-square-foot structure that will straddle LA’s Wilshire Boulevard.

 

ROSETTE DAWSON – Corporate  Communications Coordinator

Rossette Dawson is a storyteller for Clark Construction’s Western Region. Through newsletters, magazine articles, website content, social media posts, award submissions, and videos, Rossette gives life to Clark’s projects and people in engaging ways.
Rossette has a bachelor’s degree in mass communications from St. Scholastica’s College in Manila, Philippines.
