Insurance
The ACE Mentor Program holds a comprehensive insurance package to protect ACE and its affiliates. To be eligible for the coverage, affiliates must be in good standing, meaning in compliance with ACE policies and requirements.

A note on Insurance: Affiliates are covered under ACE national insurance policies. To maintain eligibility for this coverage, affiliates must adhere to all required policies, procedures, and compliance standards, including governance policies, operational guidelines, and annual reporting requirements. Failure to meet these requirements may impact an affiliate’s coverage. While insurance policy documents are not publicly distributed, they are available upon request.
ACE National secures insurance coverage for the organization, with each affiliate responsible for its proportional share of overall insurance costs. Affiliate premiums are calculated using student, mentor, volunteer, and staff counts, making it important to keep database records and board lists accurate and up to date.
The Affiliate Premium Calculation Document explains the reimbursement process, premium calculations, and applicable administrative fees.
A Certificate of Insurance (COI) provides documentation of ACE’s insurance coverage and may be requested by schools, venues, or partner organizations. Affiliates may need to provide a COI when hosting events, using facilities, or establishing partnerships.
The Insurance Request Procedure Document explains what is covered and what information is needed to obtain a
Certificate of Insurance (COI) from ACE’s insurance provider.
To request a COI, please utilize the Insurance Request Form
